Conergy Maximises Wind Power25 September 2007 15:27 German renewable energy company Conergy has teamed up with German power generation company Voith Industrial Services to create a new system for increasing the yield of wind turbines. Conergy says the ProfitGuard system is capable of producing up to 4% more electricity, it announced at the Husum Wind exhibition in Germany. Conergy will also be testing a prototype wind turbine which can which can operate at very high temperatures. The 900kW PowerWind 56 has been set up near Bremerhaven in Germany and is designed for onshore wind farms operating in temperatures over 45°. » Email this link to a friend |
