Areva to Build US Power Plant08 November 2007 16:12 French energy company Areva will build the first European evolutionary power reactor (EPR) in the US, the company has announced to the French media. "There are 103 EPRs in the US but none have been built by a European company. We hope to start our first EPR in the US in 2010," CEO Anne Lauvergeon told French radio station BFM.
