French Energy Unions Strike Again

French energy unions started another strike this morning following a breakdown in talks over government reforms on special pensions.

Union officals say today's strike could hit French consumers as hard as the last strike on 18 October, which saw output fall by 10GW when more than half of Electricite de France and Gaz de France's staff walked out.
