Iran Begins Second Atomic Power Plant

Iran has started building a second atomic power plant in an oil-rich region near the border of Iraq, Iran's Ambassador to Russia told local news sources.

Gholamreza Ansari announced that construction of the 360MW plant has begun at Darkhovin in the southwestern Khuzestan province.

Iran is building its first nuclear power plant near the southern city of Bushehr.
