Eskom to Boost Output With Extra Coal

South African power utility Eskom has announced it will buy an extra 45 million tonnes of coal over the next two years to boost output.

The company has been unable to ensure sufficient electricity from its power stations, which has lead to power cuts across the country and a halt to mine production last month.
