Vietnam Firm to Build Hydropower Project in Laos

Vietnam's V&H Corporation plans to build the Lower Sekong Hydroelectric-Power Plant with a generating capacity of 80MW in Laos.

The firm has signed a memorandum of understanding for the project with the Lao Government.

At present, V&H Corporation is conducting exploration and survey activities to report to the Lao Government and implement the project.

Along with Nam Cong Hydroelectric Power Plants 2 and 3, the Lower Sekong plant is expected to contribute to electricity generation of the country.
