Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) has unveiled its new Experimental Power Grid Centre (EPGC) on Jurong Island in Singapore.
The centre will undertake research collaborations with local and international partners to develop future energy technologies for commercialisation

In addition, A*STAR has entered into a research collaboration agreement with SP PowerGrid and signed three memorandum of understandings with Housing Development Board (HDB), Meidensha Corporation Japan and National Instruments for various energy solutions.
EPGC is working closely with stakeholders in the country to create Singapore’s smart grid value chain.
