M&As this week: Atkore International Group, Verisk Analytics, L3 Technologies


Atkore International Group has announced the acquisition of Marco Cable Management (MCM).

UK-based company MCM is engaged in the design and manufacture of wire basket cable tray and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) trunking.

Atkore aims to provide its services in the data centre and healthcare markets, and expand its electrical raceway business in the UK and Europe through the acquisition.

Verisk Analytics has announced the acquisition of MAKE Consulting, a company engaged in providing research and advisory services to the renewable energy industry.

Following the acquisition, MAKE Consulting will operate as a part of Verisk Analytics’ subsidiary Wood Mackenzie.

L3 Technologies has announced an acquisition of undersea power generation technologies developer Open Water Power.

Open Water Power will be renamed L3 Open Water Power and integrated into L3 Technologies' Sensor Systems business segment following the transaction.

PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna has entered an agreement to acquire EDF Polska from EDF Energies Nouvelles for a consideration of €1.4bn ($1.47bn).

EDF Polska owns co-generation and electricity generation assets, while EDF Energies Nouvelles is an energy utility company.
