M&As this week: Vattenfall, EDF Energies Nouvelles, Electric Research and Manufacturing Cooperative


Vattenfall has completed the acquisition of gas and electricity distributing company iSupplyEnergy.

Vattenfall is engaged in the generation, distribution, and sale of electricity and heat.

EDF Energies Nouvelles plans to acquire a 32.8% stake in Futuren (formerly Theolia) in addition to the 67.2% stake it acquired on 9 June 2017.

The company will acquire the shares at a price of €1.15 ($1.25) each and convertible bonds at (OCEANE) at €9.37 ($10.19, ex-coupon) each.

EDF Energies Nouvelles is engaged in the production of wind energy.

Electric Research and Manufacturing Cooperative (ERMCO) has agreed to acquire power delivery systems developer GridBridge Corporation.

ERMCO expects to increase its share in the electricity distribution market by offering a wider set of solutions to its customers through the acquisition.
