plastocor® Tube Lining System reduces leakages, optimising equipment performance and ensuring plastocor® one-stop turnkey, made-to-measure solutions contribute to improved economic savings.

In turbulent economic times, where many of our businesses are under stress, at plastocor-international SA, we know how important every investment decision is. Exiting this crisis successfully calls for long-term, reliable solutions, which you can continue to find in plastocor® Technology Systems, delivering expert care to power plants across the world via the plastocor® team of local approved applicators.

Our plastocor® Tube Lining System is an excellent example of how power plants can enhance equipment performance at an affordable cost – a real-time solution to reduce unplanned shutdowns to a minimum. When the future looks more uncertain than ever, a good starting point is relying on certainty in the present.

At plastocor®, we strongly believe in providing our customers with the best long-term solution that meets their particular needs. Our approach is made-to-measure and one thing you can rely on during this crisis is that we will continue to deliver our trademark excellence in high-quality products, services and customer care around the world.

Thanks to our worldwide network of approved applicators in the field, we are maintaining active customer care also during the global crisis. For example, in India, through plastocor® approved applicator Arudra Engineers Pvt Ltd.. Natraj Raman, managing director at Arudra, recently commented on the benefits of reduced leakages thanks to plastocor® Tube Lining System, saying that in Vietnam a customer experiencing monthly leaks in condensers was able to solve this problem by applying plastocor® Technology.

Reducing leakages not only results in improved equipment performance and reliability – as in the case of our Vietnam experience as described by our approved applicator in India, where over 31,000 tubes were coated in four condensers, reducing incidents of leakages – it also contributes to enormous economic savings.

A suitable illustration of this point is our case study from the CEA PHENIX nuclear power plant in France. The study demonstrates that applying plastocor® Tube Lining System resulted in fewer shutdowns, where two unplanned shutdowns relating to corrosion-induced tube ruptures were avoided in a period of approximately 18 months. This resulted in an average gain of €5.6m ($6.05m).

Fully compatible with all other plastocor® systems, the system allows for improved maintenance planning, further optimising operational budgets.
