Continental Controls Corporation (CCC) will exhibit at the Power-Gen Europe 2009 exhibition and will for the first time introduce the EGC2 and EGC4 electronic carburettors for sale in Europe.

Power-Gen Europe will be held at Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany, from 26 May to 28 May. CCC will be located at booth 7/J57.

CCC products are equally divided between products for gas turbines and gas engines. Both products lines will be represented at the Power-Gen show.

The AGV 10 and AGV 50 are electronic fuel valves that include fuel measurement as an integral part of the valve. For liquid fuels CCC offers the ALV 10 valve for gas turbines up to about 30MW.

For gas engines, CCC’s new offering of the EGC2 and EGC4 electronic carburettors will be featured. These carburettors replace the old mechanical carburettors that are normally used to mix air and fuel on natural gas engines. The EGC products do a better job of mixing air and fuel and also precisely controlling the air fuel ratio to minimise emissions and maximise engine efficiency.

CCC will be soliciting distributors for Europe as well as recruiting a regional sales manager to handle CCC sales in Europe.

The EGC2 and EGC4 electronic gas carburettors can be used on gas engines ranging from 25hp to 500hp.
