Arjay Engineering has announced that its new HydroSense 4410 trace oil in water monitor has completed the beta testing phase.

The product is intended for use with cooling and washdown waters in power stations and will be ready to present at the POWER-GEN Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, US, in December.

The compact closed loop sensing design has many unique features to detract from issues typical of power plants.

These include a sensor air blanket to deter condensation on the optics, and an algae-scale inhibiter to keep the wetted surfaces clean.
