Pneumofore participated in the Gas Infrastructure China Summit 2013, and came away with the following conclusions.

Natural gas resources in China and neighbouring countries are used for the industrial and domestic home markets. The burning of gas allows for a critical reduction in emissions released into the atmosphere. Therefore, the idea is to continue searching for new gas fields and to construct pipelines and a range of storage solutions. But large climatic and geological differences over the vast territory of China create various scenarios and challenges.

Pneumofore is active in the final phase of commissioning when new pipelines are built. All humidity in the pipelines can be evacuated easily and quickly with Pneumofore’s UV H series of pumps. Though the internal corrosion of pipelines can be largely avoided, the external corrosion of pipelines remains a difficult challenge. This is exacerbated by the immense size of the present pipelines that must be managed.

As future gas infrastructure projects are evaluated on an ongoing basis, Pneumofore remains on the forefront to help with these operations.
