Aberdeen, UK — Wood Group GTS has been awarded a five-year, $27m contract by Brick Power Holdings for operations and maintenance (O&M) of the Rumford and Tiverton facilities located in Maine and Rhode Island, US.

The Rumford and Tiverton power facilities have 265MW of natural gas-fired electric generation capacity. Both plants consist of General Electric Frame 7FA heavy industrial gas turbines, operating in combined-cycle configurations. The O&M contract includes complete care, custody, control and maintenance of both facilities, from the mobilization/transition stage, which began in October 2009, through to the operational phase in 2010.

Wood Group GTS was selected as a leading O&M provider by Brick Power after undergoing a highly competitive selection process.
