Adder Launched HD Video Remote Access Product ADDERLink ipeps+

Adder Technology  launched the ADDERLink ipeps+ to expand its ipeps+ remote access product portfolio.

The new ADDERLink ipeps+ expands technological developments and offers enhanced remote access functionality to all industries where security and video quality are business-critical.

Industrial sites, silicon fabrication plants, off-shore locations and many other similar markets require secure and responsive remote control since computers are situated in restricted or difficult-to-access areas. Even a second-long delay could impact the entire operation.

In response to the increasing demand, Adder developed the ipeps+ to provide smooth-motion video at up to 30 frames per second (fps) and 24-bit colour depth over IP. The new addition to the Adder portfolio enables organisations to securely view and edit HD video from anywhere in the world as if they were locally connected to the target computer.

Adder channel partner Accordance vice-president Johnny Chuang said: “The adoption rate of KVM-over-IP is forecasted to skyrocket over the next five years and we have seen a significant increase in customers, demanding the ability to securely access servers or computers from anywhere in the world across a WAN with an ‘at desk experience’.

“As such, the launch of the ipeps+ has come at a perfect time for us. It makes that high-quality user experience achievable without having to undergo a costly system redesign.”

The ipeps+ is a remote access solution designed for the environments where security is critical. A public-to-private network separation plus advanced encryption standard (AES) encryption minimises the risk of an external security breach, while user access profiles and integration with Microsoft Active Directory ensure internal security is not compromised.

Adder Technology senior product manager Martin Norman said: “When it comes to remote access, we are seeing more and more customers choosing hardware over software.

“It is non-intrusive, more secure and enables BIOS-level access, enabling the user to see and control everything as if connected locally.”

The ADDERLink ipeps+ is available through Adder’s global network of subsidiaries and channel partners.
