Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Asia-Pacific region in Q2 2020 with 98 contracts and a 37.8% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 94 contracts and a 36.3% share and Electricity Procurement with 31 contracts and a 12% share during the quarter.

Looking at generation equipment contracts by the type of technology in the Asia-Pacific region, wind accounted for 40 contracts with a 42.6% share, followed by solar with 25 contracts and a 26.6% share and thermal with 15 contracts and a 16% share.
