There were 32 generation equipment contracts announced in the Europe region in March 2020, marking a rise of 10% over the last 12-month average of 29, according to GlobalData’s power industry contracts database.

Generation Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in March 2020 with 32 contracts and a 34.8% share, followed by Power Plant with 17 contracts and an 18.5% share and T&D Equipment with 14 contracts and a 15.2% share during the month.

The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
