Europe nuclear technology contracts in Q4 2020 saw 20 contracts announced, marking a rise of 33% over the last four-quarter average of 15, according to GlobalData’s power industry contracts database.

The proportion of nuclear technology contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Consulting & Similar Services with seven contracts and a 35% share
  2. Project Implementation: five contracts and a 25% share
  3. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: four contracts and a 20% share
  4. Supply & Erection: two contracts and a 10% share

Hungary tops Europe nuclear power contracts activity

Hungary was the top country in the Europe region for nuclear technology contracts recorded in Q4 2020 with seven contracts and a 35% share, followed by the UK with five contracts and a 25% share and France with four contracts and a 20% share.
