The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:
- Supply & Erection: 244 contracts and an 83.6% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: 31 contracts and a 10.6% share
- Project Implementation: 12 contracts and a 4.1% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: five contracts and a 1.7% share.
Europe leads generation equipment activity in Q2 2020
Comparing contracts activity in generation equipment segment in different regions of the globe, Europe held the top position with 121 contracts and a share of 41.4% during Q2 2020, followed by Asia-Pacific with 94 contracts and a 32.2% share and North America with 45 contracts and a 15.4% share.

Wind is leading technology for generation equipment contracts in Q2 2020
Among the technologies, wind accounted for 120 contracts with a 41.4% share, followed by thermal with 74 contracts and a 25.5% share and solar with 53 contracts and an 18.3% share.
