North America electricity procurement contracts activity up 35% in June 2020

There were 27 electricity procurement contracts announced in the North America region in June 2020, marking a rise of 35% over the last 12-month average of 20, according to GlobalData’s power industry contracts database.

Electricity Procurement stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the North America region in June 2020 with 27 contracts and a 30.7% share, followed by Power Plant with 20 contracts and a 22.7% share and T&D Equipment with 14 contracts and a 15.9% share during the month.
