Gas was the top category in thermal technology in terms of number of contracts for the quarter, accounting for 59 contracts and a 58.4% share, followed by Oil with 30 contracts and a 29.7% share. Coal stood in third place with 12 contracts and an 11.9% share.

Looking at global power contracts activity divided by the type of technology, thermal held the third position in terms of number of contracts during Q2 2020 with a 10.4% share.
