There were 92 power plant contracts announced in the South and Central America region in October 2019, marking a rise of 1050% over the last 12-month average of 8, according to GlobalData’s power industry contracts database.

Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the South and Central America region in October 2019 with 92 contracts and a 91.1% share, followed by Electricity Procurement with five contracts and a 5% share and Generation Equipment with three contracts and a 3% share during the month.
