T&D project contracts in August 2020 saw 26 contracts announced, marking a drop of 13% over the last 12-month average of 30, according to GlobalData’s power industry contracts database.

The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 17 contracts and a 65.4% share
  2. Consulting & Similar Services: six contracts and a 23.1% share
  3. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: two contracts and a 7.7% share
  4. Supply & Erection: one contract and a 3.8% share.

Middle East and Africa leads T&D project activity in August 2020
