Italy power industry IT recruitment activity rises 83.6%  in June 2021

Italy power industry registered an 83.6% rise in IT hiring activity in June 2021 compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics index.

The industry’s overall hiring an increased by 73.35% in June 2021 compared with May 2021.

Out of the power industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 13.15% share in June 2021, recording an increase of 0.63% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Italy power industry’s IT recruitment activity in June 2021

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 99.55% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Italy power industry in June 2021.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 62.5% in June 2021, a 60.92% growth over the previous month.

2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 10.71% share, an increase of 200% over the previous month.

3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 8.93%, registering a 53.85% rise from May 2021.

4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 8.93%, up 66.67% over the previous month.

Top five power companies in Italy IT recruitment activity in June 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 110.48% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Italy power industry during June 2021 over May 2021.

Luz Del Sur SAA posted 207 IT jobs in June 2021 and registered a rise of 127.47% over the previous month, followed by Schneider Power with 8 jobs and a 60% growth. Companhia de Transmissao de Energia Eletrica Paulista with 2 IT jobs and Siemens with 2 jobs, recorded a 100% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Schneider Electric recorded a 75% decline with 2 job postings during June 2021.

Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 89.29%, up by 100% from May 2021. Entry Level positions with a 6.7% share, a growth of 50% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 4.02% share, down 30.77% over May 2021.
