Description

The project is being developed by Comision Federal de Electricidad and Energias Renovables La Mata. These companies also have ownership stakes in the project.

Sureste (Sureste IV) consists of 200 turbines with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.

Sureste (Sureste V) consists of 200 turbines with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.

The Tubular Steel structure to be installed at the Sureste (Sureste Ib), site are expected to be 75m high.

Development status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in March 2015.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the Sureste (Sureste Ib) will be sold to Comision Federal de Electricidad under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.

Contractors involved

GE Renewable Energy is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Sureste (Sureste Ib).

Sureste (Sureste Ib) will be equipped with GE Renewable Energy ECO 110 turbines. The phase consists of 34 turbines with 3MW nameplate capacity.
