Description

The project was developed by BurgerWind Gaishecke, FH Beteiligungs, Land+Forst Erneuerbare Energien, Lintas, Octopus Energy Group, Renewable Energy Systems and Windpark Gaishecke. The project is currently owned by Octopus Energy Group with a stake of 100%.

The project generates 100,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 40,000 households, offsetting 60,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project has 149m high towers.

Contractors involved

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 10 units of V126-3.45MW turbines, each with 3.45MW nameplate capacity.
