The project was developed by SR Energy and Statkraft. The project is currently owned by SR Energy.

The project generates 500,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 100,000 households, offsetting 300,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $178.274m.

The project has 125m high towers.

Vestas Wind Systems was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 36 units of V150-4.2 MW turbines, each with 4.3MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 30 years.
