The project was developed by SolarWorld Industries and is currently owned by Los Angeles Department of Water and Power with a stake of 100%.
Adelanto Solar Installation is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 42 acres.
The project generates 20,628MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 3,300 households. The project cost is $50.448m.

The project got commissioned in July 2012.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Los Angeles Department of Water and Power under a power purchase agreement, starting from 2012.
Contractors Involved
Los Angeles Department of Water and Power was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
SolarWorld Americas was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 46,322 modules each with 250W of nameplate capacity.
