The project generates 600,000GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 320,000 households.

Household waste which is a kind of municipal solid waste is used as a feedstock to power the project.

Afval Energie Bedrijf Waste To Energy Plant (Afvalenergiebedrijf Waste To Energy Plant Phase I) is equipped with Blohm + Voss Industries turbines. The phase consists of 2 turbines, each with 20MW nameplate capacity.

Afval Energie Bedrijf Waste To Energy Plant (Afvalenergiebedrijf Waste To Energy Plant Phase II) is equipped with Siemens SST-700 RH turbine. The phase consists of 1 turbine with 74MW nameplate capacity.

MARTIN supplied steam boiler for the project.
