Description
The project is currently owned by Electricity Supply Board.
It is a Gas Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Diesel. The fuel is procured from Bord Gais Network.

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Dual-Fuel fired project. The company provided 3 units of 9B gas turbines, each with 85MW nameplate capacity.
