Description

The project was developed by GREEN SOURCE, LSG Building Solutions and Samsung C&T. The project is currently owned by Greenvolt – Energias Renovaveis with a stake of 100%.

Alpha Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 112.5 hectares.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 23,940 households, offsetting 42,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project got commissioned in July 2013.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Enel Green Power Romania under a power purchase agreement for a period of 10 years.

Contractors involved

LSG Group was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

The solar PV modules for the project were supplied by Canadian Solar and S-Energy.

The inverters were procured from SMA Solar Technology for the project.

The mounting systems have been supplied by Schuco TF for the project.

GREEN SOURCE is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
