Description
The project was developed by Community Energy Solar and is currently owned by Dominion Energy with a stake of 100%.
Amazon US East Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 900 acres.
The project generates 171,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 15,000 households. The project cost is $150m.
The project consists of 300,000 modules.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in October 2016.

The power generated from the project is sold to Amazon Web Services under a power purchase agreement.
Contractors Involved
Signal Energy Constructors was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
Strata Solar is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
