The project was developed by ABM Industries, BQ Energy and Building Energy. BQ Energy and Building Energy are currently owning the project.

Annapolis solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 80 acres.

The project generates 24GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 2,200 households, offsetting 13,200t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Anne Arundel County Public Schools, Anne Arundel County, Maryland and City Of Annapolis are the power offtakers from the project.

Contractors involved

EDF Renewables was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

REC Americas was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 52,416 modules each with 345W of nameplate capacity.
