Assurua Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project.

The project generates 78GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 38,200 households, offsetting 45,600t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Camara de Comercializacao de Energia Eletrica under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.

Contractors involved

Quebec Engenharia was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

JinkoSolar Holding was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 319,200 modules each with 117.5W of nameplate capacity.

Wstech supplied 28 inverters to the project site.

The project is utilising trackers supplied by Soltec Energias Renovables.
