Description

The project is currently owned by LUKOIL-Astrakhanenergo with a stake of 100%.

It is a Steam Turbine with Cogen power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Fuel Oil. The fuel is procured from Natural Gas from Rostovregiongas (SDC of Gazprom).

Astrakhan CHPP-2 (Astrakhan CHPP-2 Unit III) is equipped with Ural Turbine Works T - 110/120-130/5 turbines.

Astrakhan CHPP-2 (Astrakhan CHPP-2 Unit IV) is equipped with Ural Turbine Works T - 110/120-130/5 turbines.

NPO Elsib supplied TVF-120-2, TVF-110-2E, Hydrogen Cooled electric generator for the project.
