Azura-Edo IPP Power Plant is a 459MW gas fired power project. It is located in Edo, Nigeria. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in April 2018.

The project is developed and owned by Azura Power Holdings.
It is a Gas Turbine power plant. The fuel is procured from Seplat Petroleum Development Company PLC (SEPLAT).
The project cost is $900m.
The project got commissioned in April 2018.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 459MW.
Julius Berger Nigeria and Siemens were selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.
Siemens was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 3 units of SGT5-2000E gas turbines, each with 153MW nameplate capacity.
Siemens supplied SGen-100A electric generator for the project.
PIC-Marubeni Energy Group and Siemens were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
