The project was developed by Agua Imara. Agua Imara and Credicorp are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 50.1% and 49.9% respectively.
Bajo Frio is a run-of-river project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 8.9 million cubic meter. The net head of the project is 62.38m. The project generated 248 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $224m.
