Baozhusi is a 700MW hydro power project. It is located on Bailong river/basin in Sichuan, China. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. The project construction commenced in 1984 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 1996.

Baozhusi is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 2,550 million cubic meter. The gross head and net head of the project are 84.4m and 68.5m respectively. The penstock diameter is 7m. The project generated 2,300 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $791m.
The project construction commenced in 1984 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 1996.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to State Grid Corporation of China under a power purchase agreement.
DEC Dongfang Electric Machinery was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 4 units of francis turbines, each with 175MW nameplate capacity.
DEC Dongfang Electric Machinery supplied 4 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 175 MVA.
