Description

The project was developed by Hitachi Zosen Inova and is currently owned by Bergen Interkommunale Renholdsverk.

The project generates 41.25GWh of electricity.

The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Industrial waste and municipal solid waste are used as a feedstock to power the project.

Hitachi Zosen Inova supplied steam boiler for the project. The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 400°C. The steam is pressurized inside the boiler at 40bar.
