Description
The project was developed by Sunshine Electricity. Delta Electricity and NSW Sugar Milling Co-operative are currently owning the project.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 30,000 households. The project cost is $105m.
Broadwater Biomass Power Plant II is a combined heat and power (CHP) project. Bagasse which is a kind of agricultural by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.
The project consists of 1 turbine with 30MW nameplate capacity.
