The AES, BNDES Participacoes and Centrais Eletricas Brasileiras are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 45.32%, 9.91% and 7.56% respectively.
Caconde is a run-of-river project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 0.059 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project is 105m.

Contractors Involved
Voith Hydro Holding was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of francis turbines, each with 41.9MW nameplate capacity.
