Description
The project was developed by Fotosolar Energia Renovable and Hispasol Renovables. The project is currently owned by Northland Power with a stake of 98%.
Casatejada Solar Power Plant is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 38 hectares.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 11,000 households, offsetting 6,400t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $48.404m.

The project got commissioned in 2010.

Fotosolar Energia Renovable was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
First Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 152,400 modules at the site.
