CEME1 Solar PV Park is a 480MW solar PV power project. It is planned in Antofagasta, Chile. The project is currently in financed stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2021 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2023.

Description
The project is being developed by CEME1. The project is co-owned by Andes Mining and Energy and EDF Renewables, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.
CEME1 Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 400 hectares.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 400,000 households, to offset 280,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $980m.
The solar power project consists of 860,000 modules.
Development Status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2021. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2023.
