It is a Steam Turbine with Cogen power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is bituminous. In case of shortage of bituminous the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil.
The project generated 847,020MWh of electricity.
The project got commissioned in March 1994.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Atlantic City Electric under a power purchase agreement.
GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Coal fired project. The company provided 1 steam turbine with 285MW nameplate capacity.
Amec Foster Wheeler supplied steam boiler for the project.
