The project was developed by Enersis II SGPS and Parque Eolico de Chao Falcao. The project is currently owned by Iberwind – Desenvolvimento e Projectos.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 29,472 households.
The project has 80m high towers.

The power generated from the project is sold to Redes Energeticas Nacionais under a power purchase agreement.

Nordex was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.
Nordex was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 35 units of N90 (2.3 MW) turbines, each with 2.3MW nameplate capacity.
