Description
The project is currently owned by Duke Energy Florida with a stake of 100%.
It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant that is used for Baseload. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel. The fuel is procured from Sabal Trail Pipeline.
The project generated 1,370,323MWh of electricity. The project cost is $1,500m.
