Co Thach Bien Wind Power Project, Vietnam

Co Thach Bien Wind Power Project is a 2,000MW offshore wind power project. It is planned in South China Sea, Binh Thuan, Vietnam. The project is currently in announced stage. It will be developed in multiple phases. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2030.

The project is being developed by Scatec.

The project is expected to generate 6,960,000MWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $4,400m. The project will be spread over an area of 302.64km².

The wind power project consists of 200 turbines.

Development Status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2030.
