The project was developed by Navasota Wharton Energy Partners and is currently owned by Exelon Generation.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The fuel is procured from Houston Pipe Line & Gulf South Pipe Line.

The project generated 1,546,026MWh of electricity.
