Description

The project is currently owned by Tenaga Nasional with a stake of 100%.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in May 1993.

Contractors Involved

The Gas fired project have been supplied by NEI PARSONS and Siemens.

The electric generators for the project were procured from NEI PARSONS and Siemens.

John Cockerill Group supplied steam boiler for the project.
