Description
The project is currently owned by Enel Generacion Costanera with a stake of 100%.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Diesel.
The project generated 1,568,475MWh of electricity.

Costanera I (Buenos Aires) Combined Cycle Power Plant (Buenos Aires Combined Cycle Power Plant Unit II) is equipped with Siemens SGT5-4000F gas turbine. The phase consists of 1 gas turbine with 220MW nameplate capacity.
